Ecoversity TV: Democracy Now: triple header on food supply August 24, 2010

Following the recall of a half billion eggs, Democracy Now did a triple header on food supply issues.

1) In 2 parts: Massive egg recall due to salmonella- all 500 million eggs recalled are from two industrialized egg production facilities.



2) In 2 parts: Amy Interviews David Kirby, author of "Animal Factory" on the dark side of industrialized meat production



3) Amy Interviews Anuradha Mittal, Executive Director of the Oakland Institute, on global food supply issues, including increasing corporate buy-ups of agricultural land in developing countries.
