Dr. Yenory Hernandez-Garbanzo is a Nutrition and Food Systems Specialist with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations working in the area of school-based food and nutrition education and food-based dietary guidelines. Prior to FAO, she worked as a Nutrition Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University, and Program Manager/Research Associate of the South Carolina Farm to School Program and the USDA Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP). From 2013-2014, she was the Chair of the International Division of the Society of Nutrition Education and Behavior (SNEB) and currently she continues to be part of this Society as Trustee of the SNEB Foundation Board of Trustees.
