Job Overview:
As a Part-Time Bookkeeper and Financial Administrator at Ecoversity, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring the financial health of our organization. You will collaborate with our administrative team to support various financial tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of our institution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Quickbooks Online.
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support informed financial decision-making. - Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
- Reconcile cash on a daily/weekly basis
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and deductions.
- Work closely with the administrative team to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Assist in year-end audits and tax preparation processes.
- Provide support in payroll processing and ensure timely disbursement of salaries.🌻🌱🌎
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and team members regarding financial matters.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience of 3 to 5 years as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Stripe, Xero, etc.). - Experience with payroll software (Gusto)
- Experience with Kajabi or another learning platform would be helpful Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Experience with payroll processing and knowledge of payroll regulations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Basic knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Associate's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 🌞 Good Communication: Clear and timely communication is essential in this role. The Part-Time Bookkeeper and Financial Administrator should effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. This includes working collaboratively with the administrative team, providing updates on financial transactions, including payroll, and addressing any inquiries promptly.
Compensation:
Dependent on experience. Hourly + bonus performance basis.
